Python Tricky Questions

Exploring Python Python is known for its simplicity and readability, but beneath its clean syntax lie some subtle behaviors that can trip up even seasoned developers. In this post, I’ll walk you through a few tricky Python interview questions I’ve encountered—both as a candidate and an interviewer. These questions test not just syntax knowledge, but a deep understanding of how Python works under the hood. 🔁 Question 1: The Mutable Default Argument Trap def func(a, L=[]): L.append(a) return L print(func(1)) print(func(2)) print(func(3)) ❓What’s the Output? [1] [1, 2] [1, 2, 3] 💡Why? In Python, default arguments are evaluated once at function definition time. So the list L is shared across all calls to func unless explicitly overridden. This is a common pitfall. ✅How to Fix It def func(a, L=None): if L is None: L = [] L.append(a) return L 🚫 Question 2: Preventing Subclassing in Python Sometimes, you want to create a class that cannot be subclassed —a ...

It's always nice to get out of the comfort zone and travel ✈️. Visit some good places 🌍. Exploring new places gives us happiness and new charm ✨, meeting new people and talking to them and exchanging ideas help us to understand the world in better ways 💬. If you believe traveling heals us and refreshes us ✨, then it is always a great idea to escape day-to-day life and go visit some good places 🏞️. Since going on a long trip is not always possible and we know that friendship makes life more beautiful ❤️, I decided to visit our city's iconic places and bistros with friends, and it was awesome 😎. So we first went to Upvan lake in Thane in the evening 🌅. It's an awesome place near Sanjay Gandhi National Park and surrounded by mountains on one side 🏔️ and high-rise swanky towers on the other side 🏙️. The lake is beautiful and is regarded as Thane's "Lover's Paradise " 💖. The lake has stalls nearby for tasty snacks 🍟 and juices 🥤. It also has boating ...

Travel to Nainital, Haridwar and Rishikesh

I started my journey from Haldwani to Nainital. I hired a cab 🚗 for Rs 2500 from Haldwani bus stand, and it was a Maruti 800 car. Since there was not much traffic, we quickly crossed the city. Once we reached the mountain area, it was a very scenic journey. 🏞️ After traveling for half an hour, we reached Neem Karoli Baba Dham. 🙏 It felt blessed and very positive at the dham. After darshan, we headed towards Bheemtal, which is a very big lake. 🛶 I stayed there for 10 minutes and took some nice pictures. 📸 Since I was traveling solo, I requested nearby people to take pictures. I took the train at 5 a.m. from Haldwani and reached Haridwar at 11 a.m. From the station 🚈, the hotel was nearby, so I took an auto and reached the hotel. After checking in, I took a bath 🛁 and had lunch in the hotel itself. In the evening, I went to Triveni Ghat and attended the arti 🙏. It was very spiritual and mesmerizing. I was there for around three hours, and it was an awesome experience to watch peo...
